Official beginning and end of the Takbīr for Eid al-Adḥā

QUESTION
When does the Takbīr officially begin and end for Eid al-Adḥā?
ANSWER
According to Shāfiʿī madhhab, the takbīr starts from the time that Dhur enters on the day of Eid until Fajr on the 3rd day of tashrīq (in other words, 3 days after Eid).
According to some Shāfiʿī scholars, the takbīr starts from Fajr on the 9th Dhu al-Hijjah (in other words, the day before Eid), until ‘Asr on the 3rd day of tashrīq (in other words, 3 days after Eid).
Conclusion
If a person want’s to sacrifice on behalf of the deceased, then one may do so without any fear of dislike or prohibition.
قال النووي في المجموع: فالحاصل أن الأرجح عند جمهور الأصحاب الإبنداء من ظهر يوم النحر إلى صبح آخر أيام التشريق . وإختارت طائفة من محققي الأصحاب المتقدمين والمتأخرين أنه يبدأ من صبح يوم عرفة ويختم بعصر آخر أيام التشريق
