which is authored by an Indian scholar in the Urdu language.

Alternatively, you may learn from some English books such as: 

The Accessible Conspectust A Commentary of Abu Shuja’ (mentioned above) by Musa Furber.

The Reliance of the Traveler (A Commentary of Umdat al-Salik mentioned above) by Shaykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller.

Also note that if you wish to master the Shāfiʿī Madhhab, then you should consult a qualified scholar in the Shāfiʿī school of Jurisprudence. The mastery of Usul al-Fiqh and its legal process (in addition to other sciences) is also required for the mastery of the Madhhab.
